March 2012.- Libera RFID Library System has been implanted succesfully in the Library of the Faculty of Computing Science, University Complutense of Madrid. This is a pioneering installation in the Community of Madrid, for being the first university library to have a radiofrequency identification system based on the latest standards in the UHF band. Users will benefit from an innovative self-service loans and returns machine, and library technicians will have a powerful tool for quick and effective control of the collection.
